Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cloud operations, CI/CD automation, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and monitoring solutions.
Key Responsibilities - Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployment.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Monitor application and infrastructure health, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Implement cloud security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery processes.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues.
- Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and manage infrastructure costs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4-8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with any cloud, but preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, security principles, and cloud architecture.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
