Founded in 1984, Comverse initially specialized in voice messaging before broadening its scope to encompass a diverse suite of telecommunications software solutions. In 2016, Comverse was acquired by Siris Capital Group, subsequently merging with Xura, another Siris portfolio company. This merger resulted in the formation of Mitel Mobile. Although the Comverse brand is no longer a separate entity, its technological contributions and overall legacy continue to shape and impact the telecommunications landscape.
