Communication Architect (Hands On) Full-Time Infrastructure / Telecom | Noduco Careers | Noduco Communication Architect (Hands On)

Design, operate, and enhance global enterprise voice systems with a hands-on role supporting carrier-grade voice infrastructure, ensuring call quality and uptime.

What You Will Do
  • Support and maintain voice infrastructure, including SBCs, policy servers, and voice gateways.
  • Troubleshoot SIP signaling and call flow issues across global platforms.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to high-severity incidents as needed.
  • Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, Network, and Security teams for reliable and secure service delivery.
  • Partner with vendors for platform updates, tuning, and escalations.
  • Implement and refine monitoring, alerting, and automation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the documentation, design, and continuous improvement of the voice environment.
Requirements
  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in voice engineering or telecom infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with SBCs and policy servers, Ribbon experience required
  • Strong SIP stack knowledge and troubleshooting skills
What You Will Bring
  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in voice engineering, operations, or telecom infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of SIP stack architecture, call setup, and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with SBCs and policy servers (Ribbon experience required)
  • Familiarity with voice routing, QoS, and integration with cloud and on-prem systems
  • Experience supporting 24x7 operations, on-call support, and incident management
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities for working with distributed teams
