Commis I / Commis II - Bakery Pastry

We are looking for a skilled Commis I / Commie II to join our team in the Bakery Pastry department at Azaya Beach Resort. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience and be responsible for preparing high-quality bakery products.

Roles and Responsibility

• Assist the head chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
• Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and desserts to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
• Develop new recipes and ideas to enhance the menu's appeal.
• Ensure all food is prepared on time, meeting customer expectations.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commis I or Commi II in a bakery pastry kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of dough mixing, kneading, and baking techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and targets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality.
