Job Description
The successful candidate will work to implement, maintain, and manage multiple cloud implementations for Azure Customers. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with Presales, cloud engineers, and clients to ensure the availability, security, and reliability of cloud deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer complex Azure cloud infrastructures for customer and internal environments.
- Support Azure customers to resolve critical and complex technical issues in a 24x7x365 support model.
- Lead technical customer engagements and provide strategic guidance.
- Continuously improve customer Azure support experience.
- Collaborate with Azure engineering teams to enhance mission-critical Azure deployments.
- Develop and present training for the Azure Cloud Engineering team.
- Act as a technical escalation point within the team.
- Work on process improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives.
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure environments.
- Assist customers in optimizing container-based cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure operational readiness for secure and scalable workloads.
- Validate and troubleshoot CI/CD practices and provide recommendations.
- Ensure infrastructure security, performance, and availability best practices.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years in a technical position with experience in Azure cloud environments.
- Certification in Microsoft and/or competing Cloud Technologies is desired.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing across Windows and Linux platforms.
- Experience in AKS, Kubernetes, Azure compute, storage, and networking.
- Familiarity with Azure SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other database solutions.
- Azure Application Development experience with PaaS services.
- Website troubleshooting experience (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WordPress, etc.).
- Strong experience in Identity and Authentication (SSO, Federation, Azure AD).
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, C#, or other automation languages.
- Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines.
- PowerShell, ARM templates, and automation tools.
- Azure Networking and Hybrid Connectivity.
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization.
- Experience with Terraform and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Log Analytics and monitoring solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD technologies.
