Healthcare compliance: HIPAA, basic GxP / regulatory awareness
PHI/ePHI data protection & encryption in cloud environments
API & integration security (OAuth2, token security, secure data exchange)
Monitoring & compliance using CloudWatch, AWS Config
RESPONSIBILITIES
Secure healthcare workloads and APIs on AWS cloud
Implement IAM, encryption, and network security controls
Ensure HIPAA-compliant cloud environments and continuous compliance monitoring
Perform risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response
Support secure handling of patient data across integrations (FHIR/HL7 ecosystems)
GOOD TO HAVE
Experience in AWS HIPAA-compliant deployments / BAA environments
Exposure to healthcare APIs (FHIR, HL7) & interoperability security
IaC / DevSecOps (Terraform, CI/CD security)
