Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Experience: 5+ Years
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Cybersecurity, or related field

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud security controls across enterprise environments. The role will focus on securing cloud platforms, identifying and mitigating security risks, enhancing security monitoring capabilities, and ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud security solutions and controls.
  • Monitor cloud environments for threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents.
  • Identify, assess, and remediate security gaps across cloud infrastructure and platforms.
  • Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Operations teams to implement secure cloud architectures.
  • Support incident response, vulnerability management, and security compliance initiatives.
  • Secure cloud workloads, applications, APIs, and data using industry-standard security frameworks and controls.
  • Drive continuous improvement of cloud security posture and operational processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Infrastructure Security, or Cloud Security.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud security technologies.
  • Experience with tools such as AWS Security Hub, Prisma Cloud, Jenkins, and related security platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud security controls, and Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) frameworks.
  • Experience with networking, LDAP, vulnerability management, patch management, encryption, WAF, NAC, and PAM.
  • Knowledge of Incident Management, Change Management, Access Management, and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience securing REST APIs, Web Services, and cloud-native applications.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Security, Azure Active Directory, SSO, MFA, Azure Information Protection, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies.

Preferred Certifications

AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or equivalent cloud/security certifications.
