Role Summary :
Responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end security controls for APIs, including identity, access management, threat protection, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement API security using OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, and subscription models.
- Configure APIM policies for rate limiting, quotas, IP filtering, and threat mitigation.
- Integrate Azure AD, Azure AD B2C, and external IdPs.
- Secure WebSocket APIs and backend services across Azure and AWS.
- Conduct security assessments, penetration testing coordination, and compliance reviews.
- Define security runbooks and incident response procedures.
Technical Skills & Experience :
- API security patterns and protocols.
- Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identities.
- Azure Security Center / Defender.
- OWASP API Top 10.
- Cloud encryption and key management.
- 8+ years cloud security experience.
