JD: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Managed Operations)
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Managed Services Operations team. The role focuses on delivering Day 2 cloud and OS operations support across enterprise cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Linux/Windows operating systems on cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Perform incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service restoration.
- Execute patching, upgrades, backup validation, monitoring, and performance tuning activities.
- Manage cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, IAM, and monitoring tools.
- Support automation and scripting for operational efficiency using Shell, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment experience using Terraform, Bicep via Terraform cloud, GitLab.
- Participate in change management, maintenance activities, and operational documentation.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure SLA compliance and continuous service improvement.
- Participate in 24x7 rotational shifts and weekend/on-call support as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer management skills.
- 3 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or system administration operations.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Linux and/or Windows OS administration.
- Good understanding of monitoring, patching, backup, and infrastructure operations.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform, Bicep is required.
- Experience with scripting/automation tools is required.
- Understanding of Devops and devops tools is an advantage.
- Experience working on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Familiarity with virtualization, networking, security, and ITIL-based support processes.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS / Azure / GCP Associate or Administrator certifications
- Linux or Windows administration certifications
- ITIL Foundation certification
