Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, system administration, and daily operations.
- Core Responsibilities: Proven ability to handle software installations, configure monitoring systems, perform routine infrastructure health checks, and manage day-to-day operational tasks.
- Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills to identify, analyse, and resolve cloud infrastructure, application deployment, and system performance issues.
- Automation & Scripting: Experience automating daily operations to boost productivity, supported by practical scripting knowledge.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Operating Systems: Solid administrative experience with Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu preferred).
Tools & Technologies
- Monitoring & Servers: Experience with Datadog, Nagios, and Undertow Web Server.
- Databases: Familiarity with MS SQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure as Code & Configuration: Working knowledge of tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications (Preferred): Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, or Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer.
