Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake Data Cloud and Python development to design, develop, optimize, and maintain cloud-based data platforms and solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable data pipelines, implementing cloud infrastructure, and supporting enterprise data analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data solutions and architectures.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Python and Snowflake.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Manage Snowflake databases, warehouses, schemas, roles, and security policies.
• Monitor and optimize query performance, storage utilization, and cost efficiency in Snowflake.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Implement data quality, governance, and security standards.
• Automate deployment and operational processes using scripting and CI/CD practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience with Snowflake Database.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Good understanding of SQL and database concepts.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Knowledge of Spark, Databricks, or similar big data technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Snowflake certifications are a plus.
