Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer with 4 to 9 years of experience in software development as a DevOps Engineer with AWS architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure, scripting languages like Python, Perl, and Shell scripts, and working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Bamboo and Jenkins. This position is located in Pune.
Roles and Responsibility
- Function as a DevOps Engineer for migrating applications to the AWS cloud.
- Interact with functional and technical representatives and development leads to support platform and deploy changes.
- Automate test cases and author unit tests, including integration, regression, performance, and functional testing.
- Resolve complex issues identified by testers and internal clients.
- Support production systems and manage changes according to change management policies and processes.
- Identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement of technical standards, methodologies, and technologies.
- Analyze service usage and identify cost optimization opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software development as a DevOps Engineer with AWS architecture.
- Experience in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and basics of networking.
- Understanding of containerization and Docker.
- Demonstrated teamwork skills with a solid analytical and statistical background.
- A "can do" attitude, high energy, and creativity are required, along with organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Possess strong interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to present findings concisely and effectively.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, program management, and marketing about objectives, requirements, and design constraints.
- Solid understanding of agile development principles, careful attention to detail, and the ability to design solutions for multiple product requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Working knowledge on Kubernetes.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development and/or Behavior-Driven Development.
- Familiarity with source control systems like Git.
