Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead our cloud strategy and design secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud environments. This role bridges complex business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring reliable, cost-effective, and future-proof infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP), advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi, and strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

About the Role

We are an IT services and solutions company looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead our cloud strategy. In this role, you will design secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud environments. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring our infrastructure is reliable, cost-effective, and future-proof.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect Solutions: Design and implement cloud architectures that meet business needs, focusing on security, scalability, and performance.
• Lead Migrations: Direct the migration of legacy on-premise applications and workloads to the cloud.
• Ensure Best Practices: Define and enforce standards for cloud governance, compliance, and security.
• Optimize & Monitor: Continuously improve infrastructure for cost efficiency and reliability using monitoring and observability tools.
• Automate Everything: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Mentor & Lead: Provide technical leadership to development and DevOps teams, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
• Innovate: Evaluate new tools, managed services, and emerging technologies to keep our capabilities cutting-edge.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Cloud Expertise: Deep expertise in at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a strong understanding of a second.
• Architecture Experience: Proven track record in designing cloud solutions, migrations, and modernization projects.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Containerization: Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
• DevSecOps: Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and integrating security best practices.
• Networking & Security: Solid understanding of VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, IAM, OAuth2, and VPNs.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, CloudFormation, IAM.
• Azure: Virtual Machines, AKS, Azure DevOps, ARM Templates.
• GCP: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud Build.
• Observability: Experience with tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
