Job Summary
We are looking for a senior Cloud Architect Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure & AWS Cloud Operations, Migration, Infrastructure, Networking, Security, Automation, Governance, Monitoring and DR. The role will act as a senior technical escalation point for enterprise cloud environments, handling critical incidents, troubleshooting, optimization and cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Azure & AWS cloud infrastructure, migrations and Day-2 operations.
- Handle P1/P2 incidents, problem/change management, service restoration, RCA and technical escalations.
- Lead troubleshooting bridges and coordinate with customers, vendors, application, security and support teams.
- Drive capacity planning, performance optimization, availability, backup & disaster recovery.
- Implement cloud governance, IAM/RBAC, MFA, security hardening, vulnerability remediation and compliance.
- Develop automation and IaC solutions; support CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Drive proactive monitoring, service improvement and operational stability.
Technical Skills
Azure: Azure VMs, VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, Storage, Backup, Site Recovery, AKS, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Azure Migrate.
AWS: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Route53, ELB/ALB/NLB, CloudWatch, AWS Backup, AWS MGN, AWS DMS, EKS, Lambda, Systems Manager.
Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Hybrid Connectivity.
OS & Infrastructure: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/SUSE), VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, SAN Storage, Backup Technologies, Data Center Operations.
Automation / IaC / DevOps: Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash, CI/CD.
Requirements
- 12+ years in Infrastructure/Cloud Operations with 8+ years hands-on Azure & AWS.
- Strong experience in enterprise cloud migrations, customer escalations and production/Day-2 support.
- Excellent customer communication, stakeholder management, incident leadership, problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Ability to lead critical outages and mentor L2/L3 engineers.
