Civil Draftsman (AutoCAD 2D)

About the Role

Achal Developers is looking for an experienced Civil Draftsman in Bengaluru to work on 2D AutoCAD drawings. Must have 2-4 years of experience in the Real Estate industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D architectural and civil drawings using AutoCAD.
• Draft and revise layout plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and site plans.
• Prepare working drawings based on design inputs from architects and engineers.
• Modify drawings as per project requirements and site updates.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and project engineers to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations and company standards.
• Support the engineering team with technical drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare as-built drawings whenever required.
• Maintain drawing records and ensure timely submission of revised drawings.

Required Skills

• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD (2D Drafting).
• Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings and construction standards.
• Knowledge of plotted development layouts, residential projects, and site planning.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Good attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with local development authority guidelines (BDA/BBMP/Anekal Planning Authority) is an added advantage.
• Exposure to plotting layouts and villa projects is preferred.

Eligibility

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman in a real estate or construction company.
• Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD 2D.
• Immediate to 15 days joiners are preferred.
