Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Senior Modelers with over 5 years of expertise in structural steel detailing using Tekla Structures software, adhering to AISC and OSHA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural steel modeling using Tekla Structures based on design drawings and client requirements
- Execute detailing of erection and shop drawings with client-specific drawing templates
- Raise valid RFIs and create comprehensive project reports
- Export various file formats including Powerfab, NC, DXF, DWG, IFC files
- Work effectively individually or collaboratively in team environments, even under tight deadlines
- Handle industrial, residential, and commercial projects related to main and miscellaneous steel
- Generate lists for shop drawings and various reports (NC, DXF, MISS_LIST, FABSUITE, TRANSMITTAL, ABM, BOLT LIST, FABTROL REPORTS, BEND TECH, EPM, STRIMIS, etc.)
- Understand scope of work, project technical specifications, standards, and numbering setup procedures
- Ensure all part marks follow client standards before numbering
- Prepare erection assembly drawings, embed plans, main steel plans, and framing plans
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in structural steel detailing with Tekla Structures
- Strong adherence to AISC and OSHA standards
- Proficiency in multiple file formats and report generation
- Experience with industrial, residential, and commercial projects
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of technical specifications and client standards
