Job Description
- Develop, edit, and refine Chinese-language scripts tailored to various genres including entertainment, education, and promotional content.
- Create engaging Chinese scripts for video, audio, and digital platforms, adapting tone and structure for different genres and formats.
- Incorporate contemporary themes and culturally relevant references into scripts.
- Edit and refine scripts for clarity, coherence, and audience engagement, ensuring linguistic accuracy, grammar precision, and stylistic consistency.
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to align with project goals and conduct research to ensure accuracy and topical relevance.
- Manage multiple scripting projects simultaneously, maintaining organized documentation and version control.
Job Requirements
- Proven expertise in Chinese scriptwriting with a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in Chinese.
- Advanced command of grammar, vocabulary, and colloquial expressions, along with strong storytelling ability and a creative mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, possessing excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience writing for film, television, or digital media is preferred, as well as familiarity with contemporary Chinese media trends and popular culture.
- Background in journalism, communications, or content creation is beneficial.
