Chief Technology Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CTO with a strong background in technology leadership, platform scaling, and cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. This role requires exceptional skills in security, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Roadmap & Architecture: Define cloud strategy, services/microservices architecture, and data strategy to support scalable solutions.
• Engineering Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team; drive hiring, coaching, and career development.
• Delivery & Quality: Oversee CI/CD pipelines, testing strategy, observability, incident management, and problem resolution.
• Security & Compliance: Implement robust security measures, compliance protocols, and risk management frameworks.
• Budget & Vendor Management: Optimize cloud costs, manage external vendors, and ensure cost-effective technology delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Sales, and executive teams on OKRs, prioritization, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years as CTO in a similar or larger company; 6+ years in technology leadership roles.
• Proven experience in scaling platforms and teams, ensuring high availability (e.g., 99.9%) and faster time-to-market.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Strong understanding of security and compliance, including audit readiness, policy enforcement, and access management.
• Exceptional organizational, change management, and stakeholder communication skills (both DE/EN).
