Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the overall technology vision and strategy for the company.
- Write the backend code initially
- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
- Architect, design, and develop scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Oversee the development and deployment of our products on Google Cloud.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our platform.
- Collaborate with product management and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Manage and optimize our technology budget and resources.
- Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Contribute to fundraising efforts and build strong relationships with investors.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud).
- Experience with Flutter for mobile app development (iOS and Android).
- Experience with building and scaling high-traffic web applications.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for building innovative and impactful products.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment is a strong plus.
