Job Overview

UMA Polymers is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the companys financial operations and drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance within the manufacturing industry, with proven expertise in financial planning, cost control, compliance, and business strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting aligned with business objectives
  • Provide strategic financial insights and support to the CEO and senior management for decision-making
  • Drive profitability improvement, cost optimization, and margin enhancement initiatives
  • Evaluate capital expenditure, new projects, and investment opportunities with ROI analysis
  • Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and timely closure of books on a monthly and annual basis
  • Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial systems, and governance practices
  • Monitor product costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis in manufacturing operations
  • Improve cost efficiency across procurement, production, and supply chain functions
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital including receivables, payables, and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including taxation, audits, and corporate laws
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies for smooth compliance management
  • Identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions for working capital and term loans
  • Lead fund raising, debt structuring, and optimize cost of capital
  • Drive ERP/SAP systems, financial automation, and data-driven decision-making processes
  • Build, lead, and mentor the finance and accounts team with clear performance metrics
  • Ensure transparency, accuracy, and integrity in all financial reporting and disclosures
  • Support business expansion, strategic initiatives, and long-term growth planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 15+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Prior experience in a leadership role (Finance Head / CFO / Senior Finance Manager / General Manager Finance) preferred
