As the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the companys compliance program. Your primary goal will be to ensure that DPDP Consultants operates in a manner consistent with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will collaborate with various departments to establish and maintain effective compliance controls and work to foster a culture of ethics and compliance throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities

Policy Development and Implementation:

Develop and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and business operations.

Implement policies across the organisation and ensure widespread understanding and adherence.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential areas of compliance vulnerability.

Develop and implement strategies to mitigate compliance risks and enhance the overall compliance framework.

Training and Communication:

Design and deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Foster a culture of compliance through effective communication and awareness campaigns.

Monitoring and Reporting:

Establish systems for ongoing monitoring and auditing to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Prepare regular reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors on the state of compliance within the organization.

Investigations and Remediation:

Oversee the investigation of compliance violations and develop corrective action plans.

Work with legal and other relevant departments to address and remediate compliance issues.

Collaboration

Collaborate with legal, risk management, and other departments to align compliance efforts with broader organizational goals. Serve as a key point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.

Qualifications :

Bachelor s degree in law, business, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience (12+ years) as a compliance officer or in a similar role within the Industry.

In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
