Chemco Group - Senior Manager - Corporate Finance - CA (8-15 yrs)

Purpose:

Chemco Plastic Industries Private Limited ("Chemco") is one of the largest rigid packaging manufacturers in the country. With a strong commitment to innovation and excellence, we have consistently achieved unparallel growth and success in the industry. As we continue to expand, we are seeking to hire an experienced, full time Senior Manager for our Corporate Finance function who will report into the VP, Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Debt & Treasury

- Complete ownership of debt raising activities including proposal preparation, lender coordination, sanctions, documentation, disbursement and post-disbursement compliance.

- Manage working capital financing and other supplier financing arrangements.

- Preparation of detailed proposals to banks/ financial institutions.

- Handle the entire gamut of pre and post sanction activities including project evaluation, review of term sheets/legal documents and negotiation thereof with the banks/financial institutions and security creation.

- Make presentations to banks and financial institutions, handling lender queries to facilitate sanction of credit facilities and negotiate term sheets.

- Follow up with bank officials to ensure compliance and completion of various processes pre and post disbursement.

- Perform treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings and debt management

- Monitor the overall debt of the Company, ensure effective cost of debt and timely servicing of debt.

- Maintain relationship with banks and investors, and develop new banking relationships.

Ratings and Compliance

- Ensure routine banking & RBI (including FEMA) compliance.

- Ensure timely ratings of all instruments including annual/periodic surveillance and compliance.

Financial Analysis & Projections

- Prepare financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff.

- Prepare the Company's budget, analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the Company's actual performance compared to business plans.

- Preparation of long-term financial projections of the Group.

- Prepare financial and business-related analysis for new & expansion projects.

Basic Requirements:

Educational Qualification/ Soft Skills:

- 8-15 years of experience across both working capital financing and term loans / long-term capital raising.

- Professionally qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with experience in statutory audit. Candidates with prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm will be preferred.

- Comfortable with people engagement and strong persuasive skills

- Analytical bend of mind with good time management, planning and coordination skills

- Ability to manage a team

Job Specific Skills:

- A deep understanding of business operations, supply chain dynamics and internal control frameworks, which would be considered an added advantage in enabling the candidate to contribute effectively to the role.

- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in accounting, financial planning and management, and other management support areas, as required

- Relevant experience across domestic loans, ECBs, credit facilities fund based / non fund based

- A deep understanding of corporate credit, project finance, working capital etc.

- Updated knowledge of RBI Regulations

- Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking

- Should have excellent understanding of financial statements with ability to analyse financials.

- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP S4 Hana.
