Job Description

We are looking for skilled CDP Chefs and Pastry Chefs to join reputed hospitality establishments in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate should have experience working in professional kitchens, maintaining high food quality standards, and following food safety regulations.

Role & responsibilities

CDP Chef

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes.
• Manage a designated kitchen section independently.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Monitor food stock and kitchen inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards.
• Assist Head Chef in menu planning and daily kitchen operations.
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff.
• Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs.

Pastry Chef

• Prepare cakes, pastries, desserts, breads, and bakery products.
• Decorate desserts according to presentation standards.
• Develop seasonal dessert menus.
• Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients.
• Operate bakery and pastry equipment safely.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation in the pastry section.
• Monitor stock levels and place ingredient requests.
• Maintain consistency in product quality.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CDP Chef or Pastry Chef.
• Experience in hotels, restaurants, resorts, cruise lines, or fine dining kitchens.
• Good knowledge of international cuisine and food preparation techniques.
• Understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
