Chartered Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Reporting: Prepare financial statements, maintain general ledgers, and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
• Audit & Assurance: Conduct internal/external audits, verify financial records, assess internal controls, and prepare audit reports.
• Taxation: Prepare and file tax returns, advise on tax planning, manage tax audits, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Financial Analysis & Planning: Provide financial insights, budget forecasts, and cost-reduction recommendations.
• Management Accounting: Develop management reports, assist with budgeting and financial planning, and track financial KPIs.
• Financial Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to financial laws, regulations, and accounting standards, staying updated with new rules.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor junior accountants, ensuring deadlines and standards are met.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, preferably with experience in CA Firms / the construction or real estate industry.
