Position Overview:
The Business Intelligence Developer designs, develops, tests, documents, maintains, and troubleshoots database objects, ETL processes, and custom reporting solutions across a broad suite of Business Intelligence and data integration tools. This role is responsible for implementing reliable data pipelines and scalable data structures, as well as creating and optimizing various reporting products for business users. The developer actively supports the full project lifecycle, including gathering and defining requirements, solution design, solution development, automated and manual quality assurance testing, and user acceptance testing phases of projects.
Essential Functions:
- Design, build, and maintain database objects such as tables, stored procedures, functions, and views, and develop complex SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and data integration needs including the secure and automated delivery of file extracts via SFTP.
- Develop custom reporting solutions within Epic Hyperspace, including Reporting Workbench and Cogito SQL reports, Radar dashboards, and all associated Cogito build elements.
- Responsible for the execution of full reporting lifecycle; from design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of processes and systems.
- Lead working sessions directly with OCHIN members, third party vendors, and/or staff to design and develop technical solutions that fit reporting and analytic needs.

- Minimum five years (5) of experience in Information Technology or related field REQUIRED
- Minimum five years (5) of experience with complex SQL development RQUIRED
- Current both the Epic Clarity Data Model certification is REQUIRED
- Current certification or accreditation in Epic Caboodle Data Model, Cogito Tools Administration, Radar SQL Metrics Badge preferred,
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with custom development within the Epic Cogito suite preferred.
- Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50 60-minute competency assessment. Base Pay Overview
OCHIN uses broadened pay ranges to support equitable and market-aligned compensation practices. The final offer will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, certifications, education, experience, training, responsibilities, internal equity, and market data.

- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
- This position requires a virtual home-office environment, working remotely and will require that employees be on camera for all virtual meetings.
- The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and mobile devices.
- Travel is required to support OCHIN s business requirements for Go-Live installations or training which may require travel by air, vehicle, or train.
Work Location and Travel Requirements
OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.
