Job Summary

The CCTV Team Leader is responsible for supervising the CCTV monitoring team, ensuring smooth surveillance operations, maintaining system effectiveness, and responding quickly to security incidents. This role involves overseeing daily CCTV activities, coordinating with security staff, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance with company policies and security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the CCTV monitoring team during assigned shifts. • Monitor live CCTV feeds to identify suspicious activity, security breaches, or incidents. • Ensure all cameras, recording devices, and related equipment are functioning properly. • Coordinate with control room staff, and management during incidents. • Maintain incident logs, shift reports, and evidence records accurately. • Review footage as required for investigations, audits, or management requests. • Training, guidence, and support CCTV operators to ensure high performance. • Ensure adherence to security protocols, SOPs, and data privacy rules. • Report faults, system issues, and operational concerns to the relevant department. • Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate matters when required.

Required Skills and Competencies

Team supervision skills. • Good knowledge of CCTV systems and monitoring procedures. • Excellent attention to detail and observation skills. • Strong communication and coordination abilities. • Ability to handle pressure and make quick decisions. • Basic computer skills and report-writing skills. • Knowledge of security operations and incident handling. Educational Qualification • Minimum 10+2 / Graduate preferred. Experience Required • 25 years of experience in CCTV monitoring or security operations. • Prior supervisory or team-lead experience preferred. Working Conditions • Shift-based work, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Work may be in a control room or security monitoring center. • May require standing, sitting for long hours, and handling emergencies.
