CCTV Engineer
Role Overview:
Responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV surveillance systems
along with managing network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and configure CCTV cameras (Analog & IP), DVRs/NVRs
Set up and manage network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, switches)
Configure IP addressing, subnetting, and network devices
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and basic networking
Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications
Integrate CCTV systems with network for remote monitoring
Troubleshoot CCTV and network-related issues
Perform regular maintenance and system health checks
Manage cabling (UTP, fiber if required) and ensure proper connections
Configure port forwarding, remote access, and VPN (basic level)
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of CCTV systems (IP cameras, NVR/DVR)
Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN)
Hands-on experience with routers and switches
Troubleshooting skills (hardware & network issues)
Basic knowledge of firewalls and network security
Cable crimping and testing (LAN cables)
