Job Description

  • Sewara Hospitality( A unit of Aresko Restaurants Private Limited) is looking for Captain or Bar Captain to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journeyOperations Management:Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the bar area, ensuring a high standard of service
  • Organize and oversee the setup, cleanliness, and maintenance of the bar area and its inventory
  • Staff Supervision and Training:Train and supervise bar staff, including bartenders and waitstaff, ensuring they follow established protocols and provide excellent service
  • Schedule shifts and manage staff performance, addressing any issues or conflicts that may arise
  • Customer Service:Interact with customers, addressing their needs, taking orders, and ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable experience
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Inventory and Stock Control:Manage inventory levels, including alcoholic beverages, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders when necessary, and ensure proper stock rotation and storage
  • Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with local alcohol regulations, health, and safety standards
  • Enforce responsible serving practices and oversee the adherence to all legal requirements
  • Qualifications:Proven experience in a bar setting, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of different types of beverages, cocktails, and drink preparation techniques
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills to oversee and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Understanding of inventory management and ordering processes
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to the service industry
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (where required by local regulations) can be beneficial
