What would you do To oversee and implement effective project planning, risk assessment, cost management, and scheduling activities for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and compliance with utility standards and regulations.
What are we looking for
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engg
Degree or certification in Project Management / Risk Management / Cost Control (preferred).
Project risk analysis and mitigation planning
Cost estimation and variance analysis
Scheduling and critical path analysis
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CEA, CERC, state utilities)
Data-driven reporting and analytics
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Enough experience in power utility / EPC / transmission & distribution / generation projects.
Strong exposure to project controls, risk assessment, and cost management systems.
Hands-on experience in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel-based cost models.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement risk management frameworks in line with ISO 31000 / utility standards.
Lead risk identification workshops and maintain the RAID register.
Assess risks using likelihood, impact, and exposure criteria.
Develop risk mitigation, contingency, and recovery plans.
Monitor risk triggers, emerging risks, and residual risk exposure.
Facilitate risk reviews, governance meetings, and escalation forums.
Assign and track risk owners, mitigation actions, and target dates.
Develop risk dashboards, heat maps, and executive-level reporting.
Analyse schedule, cost, resource, and delivery risks and their business impacts.
Ensure compliance with risk management policies, standards, and governance requirements.
Support scenario analysis, quantitative risk assessment, and forecasting.
Drive proactive risk management culture across project teams and stakeholders.
Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement of risk processes
