Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Guidewire Developer with 49 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in at least one of the Guidewire products (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter) and possess strong knowledge of Guidewire integration frameworks, web services, data migration, and insurance domain processes.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and cross-functional development teams to deliver scalable and high-quality insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, configure, and customize Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter).

- Develop and maintain Guidewire business rules using Gosu.

- Customize Guidewire screens, workflows, data models, and product configurations.

- Enhance existing Guidewire implementations to meet evolving business requirements.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire development best practices.

- Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using :

1. SOAP Web Services

2. REST APIs

3. XML-based integrations

4. Messaging Frameworks

- Design and implement Guidewire Messaging and Batch processes.

- Integrate Guidewire applications with third-party systems such as :

1. Payment gateways

2. Document management systems

3. Rating engines

4. CRM applications

5. External insurance platforms

- Implement and support Admin Data Loading activities.

- Develop data migration and data conversion utilities.

- Perform data validation and reconciliation activities.

- Manage Guidewire entity extensions and database mappings.

- Design, configure, and modify Guidewire workflows.

- Implement BillingCenter workflow customizations and billing integrations.

- Develop and optimize Guidewire batch jobs and scheduled processes.

- Troubleshoot workflow and batch execution issues

- Integrate Guidewire with document composition tools such as :

1. Xpressions

2. Thunderhead

3. Smart Communications

- Develop templates and communication workflows for policy, claims, and billing documents.

Database Development :

- Work with Oracle or SQL Server databases.

- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning solutions.

- Analyze database performance and optimize application interactions.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including :

1. Sprint Planning

2. Daily Stand-ups

3. Sprint Reviews

4. Retrospectives

- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams.

- Support production deployments and post-production activities.

- Contribute to estimation, design discussions, and technical documentation.

- Experience in Guidewire Cloud implementations.

- Experience with Guidewire Digital Portals.

- Knowledge of InsuranceSuite upgrades and migrations.
