Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and skilled CAE Durability Engineers with 2 5 years of experience in structural durability analysis using HyperMesh along with Abaqus or Nastran . The candidate will be responsible for FE model preparation, durability simulations, result interpretation, and providing design recommendations for automotive and engineering applications.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain high-quality finite element (FE) models using HyperMesh .
- Perform structural, durability, and fatigue analyses using Abaqus and/or Nastran .
- Carry out model cleanup, midsurface extraction, meshing, connections, and quality checks.
- Create and validate weld, bolt, adhesive, and fastener representations in FE models.
- Conduct linear and nonlinear structural analyses as required.
- Perform durability assessments and fatigue life predictions for vehicle/body/chassis/sub-system components.
- Correlate CAE results with test data and support model updating activities.
- Interpret simulation results and provide design improvement recommendations.
- Work closely with design, testing, and manufacturing teams to resolve structural issues.
- Prepare technical reports and present analysis findings to internal and customer teams.
- Ensure adherence to customer standards, CAE processes, and quality requirements.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
