CAD Operator (MEP)

We are looking for a CAD Operator to join our organization design team in RS Consultants. For this position, we are looking for a drafter with more of an electrical background, the ability to produce electrical drawings for projects, and excellent attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

1-3 years experience with good knowledge of AutoCAD.

Bachelor s or Associates degree.

Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator

High energy with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team in a professional environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop detailed and accurate drawings using the industry-leading software.
• Maintain project schedules
• Being able to use CAD with xrefs quickly and efficiently.
• Basic understanding of building codes require.
• ability to work with co-workers and architects.
• Read and interpret architectural plans, and trade-related facility and construction drawings.
• Interpret basic sketches of plans, elevations, concepts, and transform into CAD software.
• Produce valuable and accurate drawings for purposes such as Concept drawings, Tender drawings, drawings for submission and Good for construction/fabrication drawings.
• Electrical: Power and data proposed and plans, reflecting ceiling plans, panel schedules, single-line diagrams, CCTV, FDA, TV & Telephone etc.
• General Construction: Concept drawings, proposed floor plans, elevations, schedules, code requirements, MEP details, and assistance with structural and civil drawings.
