CAD Operator - Mechanical

Role & responsibilities

Prepare drawings (Permit, Shop drawings, Construction and As-Built) using Auto CAD

Work with CAD System, creating, modifying and releasing drawing under direct supervision from Senior Architect

Ensure timeous submission of drawings to all related parties

Ensure accuracy of drawings

Setting up base plans and transferring designs to drawing format

Collaborate with others to establish timelines, as well as solve problems

Ability to analyze data and situation and come up with creative solutions

Ensuring to adhere to the Industry standards and safety regulations at all times

Keeping up-to date with the latest trends, developments, and technologies in architectural designs

Interpreting project briefs and meeting with clients, engineers, and architects to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications

Ensuring drawings are compliant with building regulations and engineering principles

Communicating potential design issues to engineers and architects

Producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints

Preferred candidate profile

With extensive knowledge in Auto CAD, 2D, 3D, Revit and BIM

Willing to do site supervision in every assigned projects.

Knowledgeable on High Rise building and factory designs- Industrial Base Mandatory

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and database.

Strong communication skills and fast learner.

Strong Sense of responsibility to finish quality drawing works
