Job Purpose:
Perform engineering work related to configuring, organizing, maintaining and
upgrading CAD models. Design, develop and engineer high quality models using
3D and 2D CAD tools. Delivery of the assigned task as per agreed scope of work
within time and budget with MAN Quality standards.
Key Tasks
Responsibilities
Design high quality, robust, and cost effective CAD models by preparing routine
layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings with the help of UG NX 10 or
above version
Develop working drawings from sketches or descriptions developed by
Engineers
Creation of Material, documents and BOM in Team Center.
Maintain records of design process in accordance with software best practices
Assist in improving daily processes to ensure that the CAD systems meet
customer requirements.
Preparations of checklist and applicable process documents for quality aspects
for the assigned tasks
High commitment and ownership to his / her roles as an expert.

Essential
1 to 2 years of experience in the field of mechanical design
Proficient in UG NX 10 or above version in different modules such as modelling,
drafting, mechanical routing etc.
Basic knowledge of PLM system
Basic knowledge of GD T symbols
Basic knowledge of IC engine (Diesel Engines)
Basic knowledge of manufacturing techniques / production technology and
constructions methods
Ability to understand technical drawings and requirements
Good drawing reading and drafting skills
Sound knowledge of engineering design principles
Good knowledge of quality systems and quality guidelines
Desirable
Knowledge of Team center engineering will be added advantage.
Post graduate diploma in tool design from reputed institute
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, Risk Assessment, FMEA
