Cad Engineer

Job role - CAD Engineer.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in the Medical Devices domain or a relevant industry (preferred)

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) with strong academic performance

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components with a focus on plastic molded parts
• Perform mold flow analysis and ensure manufacturability of designs
• Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles in product development
• Create detailed CAD models, assemblies, and drawings
• Conduct tolerance analysis and GD&T implementation, including tolerance stack-up studies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and product engineering
• Maintain proper documentation and design records using PLM/PDM systems

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Good understanding of engineering fundamentals and design calculations
• Exposure to plastic component design and manufacturing processes
• Experience with PLM & PDM software systems
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product lifecycleRole & responsibilities
