Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Post Doctoral Researcher in Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) to join our Quantum Research division.
The ideal candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research focused on:
  • Quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms
  • Secure communication frameworks
  • Cryptographic protocol design
  • Quantum-safe enterprise architectures
  • Hybrid classical-quantum security systems
The researcher will work closely with our Quantum Engineering, AI, and Security teams to build practical and scalable PQC solutions for enterprise and government use cases.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced research in Post Quantum Cryptography and quantum-safe security architectures.
  • Design, evaluate, and optimize PQC algorithms including:
    • Lattice-based cryptography
    • Hash-based cryptography
    • Multivariate cryptography
    • Code-based cryptography
    • Isogeny-based approaches
  • Contribute to implementation and benchmarking of NIST PQC standards.
  • Develop quantum-safe protocols for:
    • Identity and access management
    • Secure communications
    • Digital signatures
    • Key exchange mechanisms
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate PQC into enterprise platforms and cloud-native architectures.
  • Publish high-quality research papers in reputed journals and conferences.
  • Participate in patent filings, whitepapers, and technical innovation initiatives.
  • Work on hybrid classical-quantum cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Mentor junior researchers, interns, and engineering teams on PQC concepts and implementation approaches.
  • Contribute to grants, industry consortiums, and academic collaborations.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in:
  • Cryptography
  • or related field
Strong research background in cryptography and cybersecurity Knowledge of:
  • Quantum computing fundamentals
  • Quantum attack models
  • Public key cryptography
  • Secure protocol design
Experience with at least one of the following:
  • CRYSTALS-Kyber
  • CRYSTALS-Dilithium
  • Falcon
  • SPHINCS+
  • Familiarity with:
  • NIST PQC standardization efforts
  • Open Quantum Safe (OQS)
  • Quantum-safe TLS/PKI frameworks
Strong programming skills in one or more:
  • Python
  • C/C++
  • Rust
  • Go
  • Demonstrated publication record in reputed conferences/journals is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with:
  • Quantum simulators
  • Quantum SDKs such as Qiskit, CUDA-Q, Cirq, or PennyLane
Knowledge of:
  • Secure multi-party computation
  • Homomorphic encryption
  • Zero-knowledge proofs
  • Quantum networking
Exposure to enterprise cybersecurity architectures and cloud platforms.
Prior industry research experience is a plus.
