Role Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountants to join our Statutory Audit team as Associates. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to diverse industries, work closely with experienced professionals, and contribute to delivering high-quality audit services to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing statutory audits for clients across various industries.
- Perform audit procedures and testing of financial statement balances and disclosures.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Review financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data and prepare audit working papers and documentation.
- Coordinate with client teams to obtain required information and resolve audit queries.
- Support senior team members in identifying audit risks and developing appropriate audit responses.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned audit engagements while maintaining quality standards.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Accounting Standards, Auditing Standards, and Financial Reporting.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to travel based on business requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Fresher.
- Strong academic background.
- Articleship experience in Statutory Audit will be preferred.
- Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Chennai.
