CA Article Assistant (Internal Audit)

Role Purpose

The CA Article Assistant will support the Internal Audit team in reviewing financial and operational processes, identifying risks, ensuring compliance with company policies, and strengthening internal controls. The role provides practical exposure to finance, audit, taxation, manufacturing operations, ERP systems, and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Audit

• Assist in conducting internal audits as per the annual audit plan.
• Prepare audit checklists, working papers, and audit reports.
• Collect and verify audit documents from different departments.
• Follow up on audit observations and ensure timely closure.

Financial & Process Audit

• Verify accounting records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in audits of Finance, Purchase, Stores, Sales, HR, Commercial, Logistics, and Manufacturing functions.

Risk & Compliance

• Identify process gaps and control weaknesses.
• Assist in preparing Risk Control Matrix (RCM).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
• Support audits related to GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory compliances.

Inventory & Asset Verification

• Participate in physical verification of inventory and fixed assets.
• Verify stock records and inventory reconciliations.
• Review material movement and asset records.

Data Analysis & MIS

• Prepare MIS reports and audit dashboards.
• Perform Budget vs Actual, Cost, Variance, and Trend Analysis.
• Analyze data using Advanced Excel and Google Sheets.

ERP & Documentation

• Review transactions in SAP/ERP systems.
• Assist in SOP preparation and process documentation.
• Maintain audit records and documentation.
