Title: Senior C++ Developer

Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior C++ Developer to join our Bangalore R&D center. The role requires Stakeholder Interaction in Germany. The engineer will work alongside our in-house engineering team and global counterparts, contributing to design, implementation, integration, and debugging of C++ applications on Linux.

Must-Have (Knockout Criteria)

• 10-12 years Solid Experience in Modern C++ (C++14 / C++17 or later) language semantics, STL, memory management, RAII, smart pointers, move semantics
• Comfortable developing C++ applications on Linux as both the development and target platform.
• Strong design acumen, with a track record of owning end-to-end architecture and design solutions for complex systems.
• Solid Experience in QT/QML.
• Multithreading and concurrency: threads, synchronization primitives, thread-safe design
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills like gdb, valgrind, or equivalent
• Solid grounding in OOP, design patterns, and software design principles
• Version control: Git
• Unit testing frameworks (GoogleTest or equivalent)

Good to Have

• Domain background in medical devices (medtech) or automotive.
• Familiarity with regulated software development lifecycle (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971)
• Performance profiling and optimization on Linux

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and integrate C++ application features on Linux
• Collaborate with software architects, product owners, and global counterparts on technical design and implementation decisions
• Develop and maintain robust, performant, well-tested C++ code
• Debug and resolve complex issues across the application stack
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions
• Contribute to documentation aligned with regulated software development practices
• Work within an Agile / Scrum delivery model

Soft Skills

• Strong written and verbal English communication must be able to interface directly with global counterparts
• Ownership mindset and ability to work independently
• Comfortable in a regulated, quality-driven engineering environment
