Location: Bangalore, India 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be in the Privacy area, working diligently to ensure customers and workers can effectively exercise their data rights across the globe. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to review data and processes, make informed recommendations for improvements, and execute pre-defined processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a key liaison between internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers to ensure seamless execution of data privacy rights.
  • Analyze current business processes and systems in the Privacy area, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and document detailed business requirements for engineers to design, develop, and implement solutions that align with privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Proactively identify blockers and independently drive resolution across teams, escalating decisively when needed to ensure timely outcomes.
  • Support the restructuring of business systems to optimize output efficiency and ensure compliance with global privacy standards.
  • Track open items to closure, proactively following up with stakeholders and flagging risks early.
  • Raise issues and escalate to relevant stakeholders or leadership with a clear, solution-focused mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on privacy and data rights.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and interpret data to drive informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with and provide constructive feedback to individuals at all levels of employment.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and familiarity with collaboration and tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, matrixed environment, navigating ambiguity, influencing without authority, and escalating effectively when needed.
  • Working knowledge of privacy regulations (CCPA/CPRA, GDPR) and data subject rights such as access and deletion is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to automate repetitive, high-volume tasks (e.g., status tracking, document review, routine communications), with a willingness to explore and adopt emerging AI tools to streamline privacy and compliance workflows.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Previous experience in privacy, data protection, or a related field is highly desirable.
