Business Head Warehousing business

PURPOSE

Responsible for P&L Management, including Strategy Development & Execution for the Warehousing Business.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Bachelors Mandatory

MBA / PGDM / Masters will be an added advantage

LOCATION: Bangalore

EXPERIENCE : 15-20 years

REPORTING TO: Directors

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

The incumbent will be primarily responsible for handling all matters of the Warehousing business and its P&L. His functional responsibility will include Strategy & Business Development, Go-to-Market analysis, Operations, quality and maintenance, supply chain, product pricing and customer service, etc.

The incumbent should be well experienced in the above field.

FOLLOWING WILL BE KEY DELIVERABLES –

• Finalization of Short-Term & Long-Term Strategies and Business Plans in association with Strategy & Finance functions.
• Ensuring Growth in terms of production and turnover. Accountable for P&L of this business.
• Mapping the Demand-Supply.
• Assisting Strategy function in evaluating various growth opportunities in the Warehousing space.
• Continuously mapping Competition and Sales Pricing considering the competitive scenario.
• Maintaining business relationship with key stake holders including Clients, vendors, Govt Departments and Local administration.
• Profitability Management, technical Service, Capex, Opex, Projects implementation including contracts negotiation.
• Supply Chain management, Operation excellence, R&D and New Product Development.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
• Implementation of latest technologies and innovative items in the projects.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL-SET -

• 15-20 yrs. experience in Logistics industry with leadership profile
• In-depth knowledge of Warehousing business & operations
• Pan-India market exposure a plus
