Business Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Finance professional with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably holding an MBA (Finance). The ideal candidate will excel at transforming financial and operational data into actionable business insights through robust performance reporting, financial analysis, and forecasting. Experience in business performance reporting within high-growth environments such as startup, technology, consumer internet, mobility, logistics, or e-commerce is essential, coupled with a proactive startup mindset.

The role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with leadership, supporting strategic decision making through robust performance reporting, financial analysis and forecasting. Key Responsibilities

Business Performance Insights

• Partner closely with Business, Operations, Product, Growth, and other functional teams to validate performance drivers and align on reporting outputs.
• Work closely with leadership and business teams on strategic and operational decisions.
• Analyse financial and operational data from multiple sources, validate data integrity, and ensure complete reconciliation across reports.
• Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that provide a clear view of business performance across functions and business units.
• Provide insight on key business drivers, risks, opportunities, and performance trends.

Financial & Operational KPI Tracking

• Monitor and analyse key financial and operational metrics including revenue, costs, margins, contribution profitability, unit economics, and operational KPIs.
• Track performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, identifying key drivers of variances and emerging trends.

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) would be preferred, equivalent qualification may also be considered.
• 4-6 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in business performance reporting within a high-growth startup, technology, consumer internet, mobility, logistics, or e-commerce environment.
• Startup mindset with bias for action.
