Job Summary:

We are seeking a data professional with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in applied analytics, data preparation, business intelligence, and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of Python, SQL, and Tableau, with experience applying advanced statistical and ML techniques to solve business problems, and exposure to cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure. Familiarity with Dataiku is preferred. Understanding basic CI/CD concepts is helpful. This role focuses on building reliable data workflows, performing meaningful analyses, and delivering insights to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

Analyze complex datasets to generate insights that support key business decisions. Develop and optimize SQL/BigQuery queries for data extraction and analysis. Build and maintain data preparation workflows, with preferred experience in Dataiku (visual or scripted components). Use Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks. Apply machine learning algorithms and advanced statistical techniques Create and update Tableau dashboards to effectively communicate trends and insights. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities. Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into analytical deliverables. Exposure to GCP tools (e.g., BigQuery) for querying and basic dataset management. Participate in version control workflows (Git) for managing analytics code and related assets. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers on cross-functional projects. Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Maintain documentation related to datasets, workflows, and analytical processes. Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to best practices in analytics.

Required Skills

B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field - advanced degree or certification is a plus. 3 5 years of experience in a data science or applied analytics role. Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating datasets. Proficiency in Python for data processing, modeling, automation scripts, and workflow tasks. Experience with Dataiku is preferred (data workflows, preparation, and model implementation). Working knowledge of Tableau dashboard development and visualization best practices. Exposure to machine learning and GenAI tools is preferred Exposure to cloud data platforms (GCP/BigQuery/ Azure) is preferred. Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD workflows is a plus. Understanding ETL/ELT concepts and data quality best practices.
