About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Payments Domain to drive end-to-end delivery of payment processing initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess excellent functional knowledge of Domestic Payments, ISO 20022 messaging standards, and strong stakeholder management capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document Business Requirements and Functional Specifications.
• Create, review, and validate User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Functional Designs.
• Collaborate with Business Users, Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Testing Teams.
• Design functional solutions aligned with business requirements and technical architecture.
• Drive End-to-End Delivery of payment processing functionalities.
• Define and manage testing activities including SIT, IAT, UAT, Regression Testing, and Production Validation.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Drive Test Automation initiatives using tools such as Cucumber.
• Support production releases and provide Go-Live Support.
• Identify opportunities for Process Improvement and operational excellence.

Mandatory Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of Payments Domain and Payment Processing workflows.
• Experience working on Domestic Payments platforms.
• Good knowledge of ISO 20022 XML Payment Message Formats.
• Expertise in Requirement Gathering, Functional Analysis, and Stakeholder Management.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in Oracle RDBMS.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of TDD (Test Driven Development).
• Hands-on experience with Test Automation Tools such as Cucumber.
• Excellent Communication, Analytical, and Problem-Solving Skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with European / EMEA Domestic Payments.
• Exposure to Cash Management, Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, or Lending Platforms.
• Background in Software Development (Java Preferred).
• Understanding of Batch Processing Applications and Enterprise Payment Systems.

Education
