Business Analyst with Data Governance or Data Quality

Business Analyst Data Governance & Data Quality (Collibra)

Experience Required: 4 to 8 years
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days
Location: Chennai / Pune

We're hiring a Business Analyst with strong Data Governance/Data Quality skills and hands-on Collibra experience to work closely with business and technical stakeholders on data quality and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Use Collibra for data governance/quality workflows (no need to build/configure the tool)
• Clearly explain DQ dimensions completeness, conformity, validity, accuracy — with examples
• Write Data Quality rules in pseudocode
• Identify Authoritative Data Sources (ADS)
• Write/debug SQL queries; read Oracle explain plans
• Work directly with business stakeholders to resolve data issues in detail

Must-Have Skills

• Collibra usage + strong grasp of data governance/DQ concepts (tool-building not required)
• Solid SQL (joins, debugging, explain plans)
• Strong stakeholder communication — comfortable in the details, not just high-level

Good to Have

• Banking/Financial Services background (party relationships, counterparty, hedging, accounts) to navigate master/dimension vs. transaction tables

Ideal Candidate

• 4–8 years experience in BA/Data Governance/DQ roles
• Can join immediately or within 30 days
