Job Description

Qualifications & Experience; 7+ years as Business Analyst in retail or consumer sectors. Bachelor s in Engineering / Technology; MBA preferred. Certifications on PMP, Agile, and Scrum is an added advantage. Reporting to CITO. Interfaces with Business Unit Heads, Finance, Audit functions. Work Schedule: 6 Days Working (Monday Saturday). Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Mode: Work From Office (WFO). Salary:11L 14LPA(Negotiable for Right Candidate). Role Purpose: Establish and lead the Business Analysis and Project Management practice; own methods, tooling, and quality gates to ensure requirements fidelity, scope control, and delivery predictability. Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements; ensure traceability and alignment between business outcomes and technical delivery. Key Responsibilities
  • Define and govern BA and PMO frameworks (BRD/FRD templates, backlog hygiene, change control, UAT readiness, benefits tracking).
  • Set standard operating procedures for discovery workshops, stakeholder mapping, and traceability (business functional technical).
  • Run portfolio cadence: intake, prioritization, stage-gates, and steering committee reporting with measurable KPIs.
  • Own requirements quality: peer reviews, signoffs, and traceability matrices; ensure scope baselining prior to build.
  • Coach team members and build aligned capability for Retail Ops, Supply Chain, E-commerce, Finance & Compliance.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and Gemba/store walks; translate needs into BRD/FRD, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Map current vs target processes; create data flow diagrams and service blueprints; identify NFRs (performance, security, scalability).
  • Maintain requirements traceability; manage changes via controlled CRs; support UAT planning and defect triage.
Skills & Competencies Expertise in business analysis methods, requirements elicitation, and documentation. Strong project/program governance (PMI/PRINCE2/Agile), risk management, and change control. Stakeholder leadership; negotiation and conflict resolution. Understanding of regulatory, audit requirements, and retail processes (POS, CRM, WMS, OMS, ERP). Structured elicitation, documentation, and modelling (process maps, sequence diagrams, data models). Retail domain knowledge (POS, loyalty, pricing, inventory, WMS/OMS, last-mile). Strong communication; facilitation; analytical reasoning. Tooling: Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, SQL basics for data validation. Strong Interfaces with Business stakeholders, Solution Architects, Project Manager and Software teams KPIs. Requirements defect density (prebuild) target. Scope variance (approved vs delivered) target; change request throughput & cycle time. % initiatives delivered on time/on budget. Portfolio value realisation (benefits vs baseline). Requirements completeness and clarity score; review pass rates. Defects attributable to requirements in UAT; CR cycle time. Stakeholder satisfaction (NPS) and UAT first-pass acceptance.
