Business Analyst - Banking Domain

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the banking domain to work closely with stakeholders, gather and document business requirements, and drive technical solutions for business process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Elicit business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
• Analyze and document business requirements using use cases, user stories, and business process modeling.
• Create and maintain business requirement documents (BRD) and functional requirement documents (FRD).
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to ensure business requirements are properly understood and implemented.
• Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, product managers, and IT teams.
• Identify and assess opportunities for process improvement and propose viable solutions.
• Develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders to communicate requirements and solutions effectively.
• Ensure all business requirements are properly tested and validated before implementation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and services.
• Experience with business process improvement and optimization.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in requirement gathering, documentation techniques, and process mapping.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, SQL, UML, and Wireframing tools.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Certification in Business Analysis CBAP is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
