Build And Release Engineer

As a Build & Release Engineer (Teamcenter PLM DevOps Engineer), you will play a critical role in the implementation and automation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) frameworks for Siemens Teamcenter environments. This position is designed for a proactive, hands-on professional with a strong blend of Teamcenter technical expertise and DevOps automation experience. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our PLM deployment processes, supporting multiple environments and contributing to the standardization of release practices across the organization.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of total IT / PLM / DevOps experience, including:
• Minimum 1 year of Siemens Teamcenter technical experience.
• Minimum 4 years of DevOps, CI/CD, build automation, or deployment automation experience.
• In-depth technical expertise in Siemens Teamcenter, including deployment and administration.
• Hands-on experience with at least one CI/CD tool such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Proficiency in build automation and scripting using Shell, Batch, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or YAML.
• Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git), artifact repositories (e.g., JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, Azure Artifacts), and versioned artifact management.
• Strong understanding of Teamcenter environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production), BMIDE templates, ITK and SOA customizations, Active Workspace, workflows, access controls, and configuration artifacts.
• Familiarity with environment-specific parameterization, configuration management, automated testing, and security practices in CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for build, deployment, pipeline, and Teamcenter configuration issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
