Bluetooth SIG
Overview
The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) is the body that oversees the development of Bluetooth standards and the licensing of Bluetooth technologies and trademarks to manufacturers. It is a non-profit, privately held trade association founded in 1998. The Bluetooth SIG owns the Bluetooth word mark, figure mark, and combination mark trademarks. It does not manufacture, sell, or supply Bluetooth devices; instead, it enables its member companies to build, brand, and sell in compliance with the Bluetooth specifications.
