Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Bluetooth Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automation test frameworks for Bluetooth protocols, profiles, and connectivity features. The role involves validating Bluetooth stack, interoperability, and performance across devices to ensure high-quality product releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test scripts for Bluetooth functionality (Classic & BLE).
Validate Bluetooth stack, profiles (A2DP, HFP, AVRCP, HID, PAN, GATT, etc.), and interoperability with multiple devices.
Design and execute automated test cases for Bluetooth pairing, connectivity, throughput, stability, and performance.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution.
Debug issues, capture logs (Bluetooth HCI logs, system logs), and work closely with development teams to resolve defects.
Work with cross-functional teams on regression testing, feature validation, and system integration.
Generate detailed test reports, automation metrics, and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience in Bluetooth testing (Classic & BLE) with good understanding of Bluetooth stack and profiles.
Hands-on expertise in Python/Java/C/C++ for automation scripting.
Experience with automation frameworks such as Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar.
Knowledge of Bluetooth sniffers, protocol analyzers, and log analysis tools (Ellisys, Frontline, Wireshark).
Familiarity with embedded systems, Android, Linux, or Windows Bluetooth stack.
Good understanding of wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, NFC, etc.) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
